Meet the Doctor
Dr. Fay Nazari – Doctor
When you first meet Dr. Fay, as most of her patients call her, you’ll be struck by her warmth and gentle demeanor. For more than a decade Dr. Fay has been in the dental field. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland. Dr. Fay has worked with top dentists and children specialty practices in the area. She lives just minutes from the office with her two beautiful daughters. She is eager to make you smile. Just ask her patients.
Dr. Lady Ung – Associate Doctor
Dr. Lady Ung graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2013. She is committed to providing quality compassionate care to her patients, of all ages. She met her husband in 2001, since then they had 2 lovely little girls, Elsa and Emma. When not working Dr. Ung loves spending time with them, gardening, and cooking.
Meet the Team
Christy Cummings – Office Manager / Receptionist
Christy loves working with Dr. Fay and staff. She has worked in the dental field since 2003 as a dental assistant, front desk coordinator, and as an office manager. She enjoys traveling with her daughter to cheer competitions and spending time with her. She is billing and coding certified. She enjoys working in the dental field due to the satisfaction that she sees from patients’ smiles as they leave after their appointment.
Mary Ann Maust – Receptionist
Mary Ann has seven years background in medical insurance billing and CPR certified. She has two beagles that occupy her time. She strives to make every patient feel welcome to Highland Family Dental Care.
Rongiuan Mu (Mu) – Dental Assistant
Mu has been Dr. Fay’s assistant for the past six years and loves working with her. She has been a dental assistant since 2008. She is from China, and has been married for the past six years. She is excited to assist in making every smile brighter. She enjoys shopping especially for shoes! She would love to show you the way to relieving your dental needs.
Talin Khodaverdi – Dental Assistant
Talin has several years of experience in the dental field. She has a passion to help the patients during the process of achieving their brighter smile. She wants to help and encourage healthy natural smiles through educating them on their dental experience and needs when coming to the practice. She loves exercising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to encourage a bright beautiful mind, body, and smile.
Jacayla Cisneros – Dental Assistant
Jacayla has been in the dental field for 22 years. She has an expanded functions dental assisting certification from the State of Maryland. She is currently studying Holistic Wellness and nutrition and hope to incorporate her knowledge into her passion for dentistry. In her free time she loves outdoor festivals and has a passion for history.
Kazumi Schwarz – Registered Dental Hygienist
Kazumi graduated from the University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry. She is passionate in helping her patients achieve better oral health, especially gum disease. She has actively participated in and organized oral health community events. She is engaged in an ongoing research project on the use of probiotics to prevent tooth decay. While in college, she met her wonderful husband while he was stationed in Japan with the U.S. Navy. They embarked on a 12 year and ongoing adventure visiting Thailand, Australia, Uruguay, and Aruba, and moving 4 times. Along the way they had two sons who love Pokémon Go.
Kazumi enjoys spending time with her family, especially taking long walks with her husband, and trying to find hidden great cuisine. Her current interests are learning and working on DIY house projects.
Amy (Kyungrang) Bae – Registered Dental Hygienist
Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She is a highly motivated dental hygienist with passion in providing the most comprehensive care as possible with emphasis on individualized treatment planning and patient education. She is highly competent in all aspects of dental hygiene care including the latest research and guidelines as well as treatment modalities and planning.
Danielle Kelz – Registered Dental Hygienist
Danielle has been in the dental field for 26 years. She learned how much she enjoyed working with people one-on-one and how rewarding it was to see a patient’s smile take shape. Danielle became a dental hygienist in the fall of 2000 at Baltimore City Community College. She graduated in May, 2005 with honors and as SADHA class president. Her certifications include orthodontic assisting, radiology, Zoom Whitening, OSHA, and expanded function dental assisting. She feels very happy to be a part of an amazing dental practice and to be a part of the team that has become a second family.
She enjoys working at such a patient-oriented practice that has given her the chance to both practice dental hygiene and to be a part of a state-of-the-art practice. Through her time with the practice, she has learned to be multifunctional and can help in any area of the practice, from front desk to dental assisting. Through recent education she is certified in Invisalign and Lumineers. Her goal is to educate patients and make them aware of their dental needs, as well as making them feel as comfortable as possible and encourage their participation in treatment decisions.
Michelle Im – Registered Dental Hygienist.
Michelle graduated with a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and then went on to receive her associates degree in Dental Hygiene at Pueblo Community College. Michelle is committed in providing her patients with the highest level of personalized care while still paying attention to their comfort. Her passion is in helping underserviced communities abroad that lack access to quality dental care. She volunteered in Costa Rice where she educated children and young adults on how to better take care of their oral health and provided dental supplies. She recently moved from Denver, CO with her husband and dog and is excited to start a new adventure here in Maryland.
